Altarea Cogedim Entreprise wins contract from Perella Weinberg Real Estate Fund to refurbish the Chartis tower (30,000 sqm) at La Défense.

Altarea Cogedim Entreprise has won a contract from Perella Weinberg Real Estate Fund to refurbish the Chartis tower (CB15) in the Courbevoie district of La Défense
Chartis, a first-generation tower block designed by architects Arsène-Henry and Shoeller, was built in 1967. It has 26 floors totalling almost 30,000 m² sqm, including executive offices, a company restaurant and an auditorium.
The refurbishment project mainly involves renovating the building’s facade to high environmental standards. The project will begin at the end of 2012 and is scheduled for completion at the end of 2013. Once refurbished, the tower will be let to one or several tenants seeking modern, cost-effective offices with direct access to the central pedestrian area of La Défense and its public transport networks.
