Altarea Cogedim and Orion lay the first tone of the Villeneuve-la-Garenne regional shopping center

On 3 May, Alain-Bernard Boulanger, Mayor of Villeneuve-la-Garenne, Alain Taravella, Chairman and Founder of Altarea Cogedim and Aref Lahham, Chairman and Founder of Orion Capital Managers laid the first stone of the future Villeneuve-la-Garenne regional shopping centre in the Hauts-de-Seine region of France.
With a net floor area of 86,000 m², this is the largest new shopping centre under development in the Paris region.

It will comprise a 22,000 m² Carrefour hypermarket, 150 stores, restaurants with terraces overlooking the River Seine, 12 specialist mid-size stores and 3,000 free parking spaces on three levels.

Just 4 km from Paris, the shopping centre is located on a strategic axis at the intersection of the A86 motorway and the banks of the River Seine, with maximum visibility (400m long and 25m high facing the A86 motorway) and 6 million vehicles per month. At the heart of a catchment area of 1 million people, at the intersection of three départements, the development forms part of a fast-changing environment benefiting from population growth of around 9% between now and 2015.
